Astrocartography for career: compare the city, then the timing

Astrocartography for career connects your birth map with work-related themes in real places. In Astrocartography Chart, compare your cities for Career support and cautions, then examine Timing for a shortlisted place. A city can support your career question while its key windows fall outside the dates an employer can offer.

What does astrocartography for career add to a city choice?

Your map locates where each planet was rising, setting or on a meridian at birth. Check City adds the planet, angle and distance for a destination. Compare Cities with Career selected turns those sources into a personal assessment: which of your candidates has work-related support, what contributes it, and what caution remains? This is evidence for an astrological location question; it does not assess the jobs available there.

MC lines concern public role and professional visibility. Their meanings provide a starting point, while the Career result identifies the actual contributors for you. The comparison uses all calculated planetary lines within its 900 km scope, rather than only a chosen planet or the limited Check City list. That distance is a product setting, not an established boundary of planetary effects.

Sun MC / Jupiter MC

Visibility / professional growth

Both can support Career. London and Stockholm below have different sources but the same overall support grade. Neither source establishes the quality of an employer or a salary offer.

Mercury MC / Venus MC

Communication / professional relationships

These are also Career support sources in the current comparison. You do not need a Sun or Jupiter line to have career evidence; inspect the actual contributors for your cities.

Mars MC / Saturn MC

Drive / responsibility and structure

The current model assigns limited Career support to these angles. Their demanding themes remain useful questions about workload, authority and preparation; they are not automatic Career cautions in the score.

Pluto MC / Neptune MC

Intensity and power / uncertainty and idealisation

These can contribute Career caution. Keep the named source visible alongside support, then ask the employer about responsibilities and expectations. The chart has not established that a particular workplace has a problem.

For the angle itself, see the MC line guide. This page keeps the wider job decision in view: a supported city and a usable start period are separate findings. Astrological interpretations are not established predictions of employment outcomes.

Two job offers, similar city support, different career timing

A fictional professional has offers in London and Stockholm and can discuss the start date with each employer. Their teaching profile is synthetic: 15 June 1990, 08:15 local time in New York, United States (40.7128, −74.0060; America/New_York). The cities and results below were calculated with the current product engines; the offers and personal situation are invented. This is a fixed example dated 5 November 2026, not a live forecast for you.

The first pass uses ordinary Compare Cities with Career selected. Both cities have Moderate support, Low caution and no named Career caution sources. The source and relative rank still differ.

What the next 12 months add

Your map's lines describe the birth moment; Timing looks at later planetary movements against the chart relocated to your chosen city, so its windows may name different planets.

Timing uses the same exact birth details, a selected city and Career as the goal. Each range begins on 5 November 2026 in that city's timezone and ends at the start of 5 November 2027. The free overview shows London as Supportive with one key window and Stockholm as Mixed with two; both have Medium signal strength. Those broad labels do not explain when the difference occurs.

Supportive means support predominates in the model; Mixed means support and caution are both present without a clear predominance. Medium describes the model's signal strength, not your probability of getting a job or a prediction of how an offer will turn out.

Full Timing example. The dates and monthly background below are an educational extract from full results. Your personal free Timing overview keeps those details locked; eligible paid access is required to reveal them.

A window label does not describe every month

London's key window is Supportive overall, while its August 2027 monthly background is Mixed. The window groups overlapping strategic signals over one interval; the monthly background summarises a calendar month. The overview, window and month describe different scopes. For the professional, that means reading the relevant month before using the broader label in a conversation about dates. Quiet means no qualifying strategic signals at that scope, not an absence of jobs or a reason to stop applying.

Two Moderate grades leave the offer comparison open

Stockholm ranks first within this two-city Career comparison, while London ranks second. Both have Moderate support and Low caution. The ordering reflects the model's contributions, not a measured difference in job prospects. Jupiter MC is closer in Stockholm, while Sun MC supplies London's support. A job with clearer responsibilities, suitable pay and feasible working permission still needs its own assessment.

For the fictional professional, both cities remain chart-supported candidates. The next useful question is which actual role they want to take and can realistically accept. The map cannot turn two offers into a complete employment recommendation, and the absence of Career caution sources does not establish a risk-free workplace.

The first window is not necessarily a supportive window

Stockholm's first key window is Mixed in March 2027; its later window is Supportive. London's single window is Supportive from late June to September. This adds a different answer to the static city ranking: the first-ranked Career location does not supply the earliest supportive key window in this example. A Mixed window contains competing timing evidence, rather than an instruction to avoid Stockholm.

The free overviews also differ: London is Supportive with one window, while Stockholm is Mixed with two. Those summaries do not reveal the dates. Full Timing results let the professional see which period produces each reading and whether any period overlaps an actual, negotiable start date.

An offer deadline can make the timing distinction irrelevant

Suppose both employers require a start between November 2026 and January 2027. Neither city's key windows fall inside that fictional start range. London's monthly background is Quiet throughout those months; Stockholm is Quiet in November and December, then Mixed in January. The result supplies no supportive key-window reason to prefer one of those start dates. It does not say to decline both offers or delay employment until summer.

Choose using the actual role and relocation constraints. If you later examine the first year in the job, the later periods can supply an astrological planning perspective, but they do not predict a promotion, a successful probation review or an event on a peak date. The last Stockholm window reaches the calculation boundary; this example does not establish what happens afterwards.

Use astrocartography for career with your own offers and dates

  1. Build your personal map. Enter your birth date, recorded time and birthplace in the form above. Keep the other planets visible so a career theme does not hide relevant location evidence.
  2. Compare feasible work cities. Use Check City for the actual destinations, then open standard Compare Cities with Career selected. Read support, caution and sources together. If moving also means establishing a home, compare Home separately; a Career result does not answer the housing question.
  3. Examine Timing for a shortlisted city. Sign in, use an exact-time profile and select Career. The forward range starts from the current date in that destination's timezone. The free overview gives the broad tendency, strength and window count; full access reveals dates, windows and the monthly timeline.
  4. Compare periods with the employer's real flexibility. Write down the earliest and latest acceptable start dates yourself. These are not inputs scored by the product. Look for overlap, read any caution or Mixed background, and accept that there may be no relevant key window in that interval.

Before choosing, confirm the role's responsibilities, reporting line, pay after relocation costs, working permission and the start dates each employer will accept. Those answers can rule out a city with appealing chart evidence. If both offers remain viable, your map helps you articulate the different location themes and timing trade-offs you want to consider; it cannot decide which company deserves your commitment.

The map, full location readings, Check City and standard Compare Cities are currently free without sign-in or usage limits. Timing requires sign-in and an exact birth time, with full details subject to eligible paid access. The fixed dates in this astrocartography for career example belong only to its synthetic profile; your own results depend on your birth details, selected place and calculation date.

Astrocartography for career questions

How do I use astrocartography for career?

Generate your map from your birth date, recorded time and birthplace. Check realistic work destinations, then compare them with Career selected to see support, caution and the contributing planet–angle sources. For a shortlisted city, Timing with Career selected adds the next 12 months of astrological background and key windows. Compare those periods with dates an employer can actually offer. The location result and the timing result answer different parts of the decision.

Which astrocartography line is best for career?

There is no universal best line. The current Career comparison uses Jupiter MC, Sun MC, Venus MC and Mercury MC as support sources, with limited support from Mars MC and Saturn MC. Pluto MC and Neptune MC can contribute caution. Your city may have several contributors or none; the personal result is more useful than selecting a planet name alone.

Does a first-ranked Career city have the best job offer?

No. The rank orders the selected cities by the current astrological comparison. It does not include salary, employer quality, hiring demand, working permission or your skills. In this example Stockholm ranks above London, but both have Moderate support and Low caution. Keep the actual offers and their practical differences in the decision.

Why can a Supportive window contain a Mixed month?

A key window groups overlapping strategic signals over a particular interval. The monthly background summarises signals across a calendar month, and the free overview summarises the set of windows. These are different scopes. London's window is Supportive, while its August 2027 monthly background is Mixed. Read the relevant month's evidence as well as the window label; neither should be presented as a promise about every day.

Can Timing choose my exact job start date?

It provides astrological windows and background, not an employment appointment or a guaranteed best day. Timing calculates forward from the current date in the destination's timezone; you do not enter a job offer or employer start-date range. Compare the output with feasible dates yourself. Quiet months and an absence of key windows do not mean there will be no work opportunities.

Which parts of astrocartography for career are free?

The personal map, planetary lines, full map location readings, Check City and standard Compare Cities are currently free without sign-in or usage limits. Timing requires sign-in and an exact birth time. Its free overview shows the broad tendency, signal strength and window count while dates remain locked. Eligible paid access unlocks full windows, dates and the monthly timeline. This page's fixed worked example openly includes an extract from full Timing results; it does not make your personal Timing dates free.

What if my birth time is unknown?

You can generate the ordinary map with a local-noon estimate, but angular lines and city distances remain uncertain. That estimate is not an exact birth time. Timing requires an exact time and cannot run from an estimated-time profile. Seek a recorded time before using detailed career windows, and keep the uncertainty visible in ordinary city comparisons.
