Astrocartography chart example: from a map to a personal answer
This astrocartography chart example follows one synthetic birth profile through our map's location reading, Compare Cities and Personal Astrocartography Report. Compare Cities finds more Travel support in three other cities than in San Antonio, though none has strong support. The Personal Report adds San Antonio's strongest relative theme, wellbeing and growth, and its greatest caution, career and money. See how each feature answers a different question, then generate your own map.

Enter your birth date, time and birthplace. Your full map opens here: its location reading explains the signals near a place, and Compare Cities weighs your chosen destinations for a goal. The Personal Report adds assessments across five life themes and a birth-time sensitivity check; it requires an exact birth time and separate report access.
01 / The starting point
One profile, kept consistent throughout
This astrocartography chart example uses synthetic birth details, calculated with our current product. It is a worked reading, not a customer's lived experience or a prediction of travel outcomes.
- Birth date

The map places this profile's selected report evidence in geographic context. The report selected Akureyri, San Antonio, Orlando, Winnipeg and Krakow. These are personal candidates from its available city pool, not a list of the world's universally best places.

02 / Map location reading
What is near this city on this person's map?
Our map's location reading connects your birth chart to a specific place, showing nearby planetary signals, their distances and their meanings. For San Antonio at 29.42412° N, 98.49363° W, this profile's reading returns Moon–MC at about 323.9 km, Uranus–DS at 503.1 km and Sun–AS at 811.0 km. Moon–MC is the closest of these signals, with a Broad distance classification.
In this astrocartography chart example, the nearest signal is Moon–MC, while Compare Cities identifies the more distant Sun–AS as the leading Travel support. Together, these features distinguish what is near San Antonio from what supports this person's trip. That helps the person avoid choosing a destination solely because one line is closer. For line meanings and reading methods, use the map-reading guide.
03 / Compare Cities for Travel
Which of these four places supports Travel?
Our standard Compare Cities feature assesses your chosen destinations for one shared goal, showing support, caution and the ordinary lines behind the assessment. Here we selected four of the report's cities for a separate comparison, using the same birth profile and the Travel goal. The result lets this person compare the reasons for considering each destination.
| City | Travel support | Caution | Leading support evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orlando, Florida | Light | Low | Jupiter–AS 155.5 km |
| Winnipeg, Manitoba | Light | Low | Jupiter–AS 151.0 km |
| Akureyri, Iceland | Light | Low | Mercury–MC 231.8 km |
| San Antonio, Texas | Weak | Low | Sun–AS 811.0 km |
Orlando and Winnipeg bring Jupiter–AS themes of exploration, openness and personal growth. Akureyri's Mercury–MC evidence emphasizes learning and communication. All three receive Light Travel support; none reaches Moderate or Strong here. San Antonio's leading Travel support is a much more distant Sun–AS signal, and its overall support stays Weak.
Low caution does not make a weakly supported city a strong recommendation. In this astrocartography chart example, all four cities show Low caution, but the amount and character of support differ.
For a trip focused on exploration, this gives the person a reason to examine the Jupiter–AS candidates first. For learning or public exchange, Akureyri's explanation adds a different reason to consider it. Costs, access and the actual purpose of the visit can still change the shortlist. These are interpretations to investigate, not measured travel benefits.
04 / Personal Astrocartography Report
What the Personal Report adds to this astrocartography chart example
Our Personal Astrocartography Report assesses five life themes for cities it selects using your birth profile. For San Antonio, it answers which themes receive more support or caution, and what additional evidence affects the Travel reading. It considers angular aspects, Parans and relocated charts alongside ordinary lines.

The same city has different strengths and tradeoffs across this profile's goals. The report gives wellbeing and growth the strongest relative support among this city's five themes. Career and money carry its greatest caution. All five themes (wellbeing, career, home, relationships and travel) receive a Mixed verdict, meaning support and caution coexist. Their relative emphasis helps the person assess the goal they care about; it does not choose that goal for them.
In this astrocartography chart example, a growth-focused visit and a career move therefore need different follow-up. The report suggests an ordinary workweek in San Antonio, tracking one concrete wellbeing or growth outcome before and during the stay, then reviewing it after the novelty fades. If the person's purpose is a career move, the greater career caution remains relevant: work arrangements and daily living conditions need their own assessment. A promising growth-focused visit would leave those questions open.
What changes in the Travel reading? The report returns Mixed with High confidence. Weak in the standard comparison measures ordinary-line support; Mixed describes support and caution together in the report. They are different assessments, not a paid upgrade to the city's rating. These three entries explain the report's Travel verdict, not its career assessment:
- Support: Venus 60° to MC · 88.7 km
- The primary supporting aspect in this city's Travel assessment.
- Tradeoff: Pluto 120° to MC · 214.8 km
- Its main Travel tradeoff, retained alongside the support.
- Conflict: Jupiter 120° to MC · 170.8 km
- Appears in both supporting and conflicting evidence, so it cannot be read as an unqualified positive.
High confidence reflects the report's evidence breadth, birth-time stability and agreement between house systems. It describes confidence in the mixed assessment, not a probability of travel success. The extra evidence identifies support and unresolved cautions in San Antonio; it does not establish a better Travel result than Orlando.
05 / Birth-time sensitivity in the Personal Report
Would five minutes change the reading?
The birth-time sensitivity check inside our Personal Report compares the entered birth time with calculations five minutes earlier and later. It tests how sensitive the reading is to those two shifts. This profile is Moderately sensitive: San Antonio's Travel verdict stays Mixed at 08:10, 08:15 and 08:20, while some underlying aspect and house evidence changes.
In this astrocartography chart example, both five-minute shifts preserve the Mixed Travel verdict. That gives the person a consistent answer at the three sampled times, with less certainty about individual details. Only those times were tested: this does not establish stability at every minute between them, test larger errors or recover an unknown birth time.
To compare your own realistic destinations across goals, the where-to-live guide continues from a shortlist you choose.

Questions about the example
Is this astrocartography chart example a real person's experience?
No. The birth profile is synthetic, and the maps, distances and assessments come from our calculation. This worked case demonstrates the product's outputs. It is not a customer testimonial, an observed travel outcome or evidence that a prediction came true.
Can I reproduce the same distances?
Use the listed date, local birth time, New York coordinates and America/New_York time zone. Distances also depend on the destination coordinates: San Antonio uses 29.42412° N, 98.49363° W. A search result can use a slightly different city center, and the live interface may round distances to whole kilometers. Report candidates also depend on its available city pool and regional context.
Which parts of this astrocartography chart example are free?
The personal map, location readings and standard Compare Cities flow are available in the free map experience. The Personal Report requires an exact birth time and has separate access requirements; generating the free map does not unlock it. Check the current pricing and access prompt for your account before requesting a report.
Will my report analyze the cities I put in Compare Cities?
The current Personal Report selects its own representative cities. It does not inherit your standard comparison shortlist. In this worked case, we deliberately selected four of the report's cities for a separate Travel comparison so you can follow the same birth profile across both outputs.
Why are all five report themes Mixed if one has more support?
The Personal Report assesses each life theme separately. Mixed means support and caution coexist; it does not mean the themes have identical evidence. In this astrocartography chart example, wellbeing and growth have the highest relative support in San Antonio, while career and money have the greatest caution. Read the report's explanation for the goal you care about: the shared label alone cannot choose between a growth-focused visit and a career move.
